I was in a bad spot just having put downy horse and didn't know where to stay and couldn't do a bad hotel, I wanted some peace. Jon was so kind and helpful, going out of his way to make sure I was comfortable without being overbearing. Good restaurants near by. Also a nice addition to the economy of a small Oregon town that is struggling. I read the other reviews about the decorations. I think it has character and a humor that is refreshing. Not everything has to be so serious all the time. I loved the authentic claw foot tub and breakfast. It was quiet and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone who cares about local businesses and a genuine homey small town Oregon experience. I couldn't be thankful enough for the care I was given, which is way more important than too many chochkies
