We have had a permanent campsite at Hillbilly Acres for several years now . I camped at the temporary campground for a few years prior to leaving ours there. Curt and Joyce are great folks. Very quiet and well kept.
I called the owners to see what was offered (swimming, fishing, cabins, etc) and they seemed very confused by my call. They said that “they are not open to the public. It is a private owned place.” They were very concerned that I had called asking questions about their property. I don’t believe this place should be listed as a public source of camping. I am very confused myself as far as the reviews? Call them yourself, but be prepared to be met with more questions than answers!
Not a set rate. Some get to stay cheaper and if you leave early, don't expect money back. Couple of us had breakers outside camper trip. People are friendly, its quiet. Roads are a little ruff and trailer area on rocks. Decent stay.
We have stayed here three or four times and we really love it here. Curt and Joyce are really nice people.
Wonderful place to camp. Beautiful wooded area. Hosts are extremely accommodating. One of the nicest places I have ever camped.
