Well the room except the wall by the air conditioning unit looked like someone fell in it then if had a bad tape repair job. Other hotels had more to offer as per the breakfast. I just expected more from Holiday Inn Express & Suites! I realize we have a pandemic going on! But lower your price if your not going to offer the amenities! The colors of the room florescent green & blue (gross) it should be more neutral. But employees were nice, polite, & friendly!
I would like to thank the kind staff of this holiday Inn. I called just to see if the lot gate was open next door to the truck repair shop. Without hesitation, they checked for me. What a great staff.
After a bad experience at a hotel in IL, we called here and expressed our concerns with COVID, amenities, etc. Paula was OUTSTANDING. She told us to drive on over and she woukd take care of our family. She was warm, welcoming, and treated us like family. If we travel this way again we will make sure Miss Paula is there!
As soon as we arrived. The room is super clean. I felt right at home. Big bed nice chase and table a safe for your belongings. Really nice staff. I give this holiday inn a five star rating
Please DO NOT stay in this hotel. i’m 64 and this is the most miserable hotel experience of my life. this is not a cheap hotel. the room was smokey, the shower had not been cleaned. there were hairs stuck to the wall and a used bar of soap in the soap tray. breakfast consisted of stale pastry, one flavor only, and bob evans breakfast sandwiches. no fruit, yogurt, milk, juice, cereal, or granola bars. all these items were offered for breakfast at the four other hotels i stayed at on this trip, all less expensive hotels. none of the staff and most of the guests were not wearing masks, although it was in the middle of a surge in COVID cases in the state, and hotel policy per there website is masks are required. obviously the alleged higher cleaning standards because of the pandemic were not being observed either. my polite complaints were dismissed both by the management and corporate. please have a better experience than me and STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL. there are a lot of other choices.nthere is no excuse for the lack of cleanliness and adherance to alleged hotel standards, the total denial of responsibility, inhospitality and absence of customer service.
