SCP Redmond Hotel

WOW! My fiance and I took a little three day trip to Bend (our first time) and thought that Redmond would be a good place to end up since we drove from Vancouver, WA and wanted to drive home after Redmond. I got a phone call from Tracy ( I hope I got her name right) confirming our reservation and asking if there was anything she could do to make our stay better. THAT WAS HOSPITALITY, we weren't even there and already felt like home. Not sure why hotels don't do this anymore but her call really made our stay special.nnAs soon as I stepped food in SCP, I fell in LOVE with the ambiance and the decor. The front desk was small but did not take away from the beautiful art everywhere you looked!nnI can't recall the name of the gal that checked us in but she was absolutely wonderful. We both got a complimentary beer which we were not expecting and we were upgraded to a bigger room.nnAs soon as I stepped in to our room and noticed the salt lamp (like where have you ever seen a salt lamp in your room?), and the wonderful ambiance music in the background as well as the wonderful smell of some amazing essential oil. It was wonderful and we had an amazing nights sleep.nnThe next morning, we were greeted by Kim at the front desk and she gave us great recommendations as to what to do around here. We loved it so much that we decided on staying another night! Kim added another night for us and everything went smoothly.nnI am in love with the concept of SCP, in love with their rooms, and in love with the incredibly hospitable staff.nnThank you all so much! We will definitely be back

Absolutely my favorite hotel i have ever stayed at! I love the remodel of this historic building, the rooms are so clean and welcoming! Very friendly staff, wonderful housekeepers. The bed is horrible though.. I probably need to see my chiropractor now ud83dude06 but other than that.. I love it! And we will be back!

BEST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Our friends put us up in this hotel and told us we were going to really like it. They failed to mention it was the coolest place in all of the PNW! The staff were so incredibly helpful AND generous, which is something I've never experienced. Of all the places I've stayed in the dozens of countries I've traveled to, this place is by far the loveliest both in ascetic and in the kindness & helpfulness of those who hold this place together.

Great service, pet friendly (including cats), great location. The only not great thing was that the floorboards really creak and one can hear people in other rooms walking around... however the hotel provided earplugs in every room. I would recommend and love to go back again.
