Best Western Ponderosa Lodge

Booked a room here at the last minute. I was so impressed by this Best Western! The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms were HUGE (some of the largest I've ever seen in a motel) and so quaintly decorated. Everything was nicely updated too, with dual sinks and vanities. On the first floor, we has a porch that led to a huge grassy area too.nnDog friendly was a plus -- They are one of the only pet-friendly hotels in Sisters. We even saw a deer on the property in the morning, which my dog loved.nnWith COVID, breakfast was a call-ahead system. Their team takes your order and prepares everything on a tray that you can return to your room. It was fast and delicious. Very impressed!!nnI would definitely stay here again if I'm traveling in the area.

Ponderosa Best Western feels like a mountain lodge. Step out of your room into crisp mountain air and big trees. We appreciated the Covid safety and cleaning precautions from check in to the breakfast room, to pool. We stayed four nights. Breakfast menu offers slight changes each day and a friendly staff that takes pride in their food. Two of my favorite breakfast items were: bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon and scramble with spinach, tomatoes and cheese and sausage links on the side. I could not eat it all.nLocated on the west side of sisters, a short drive to Black Butte Ranch.nIt looks nice from the road, and its even better inside.

This is the best Beat Western I've ever stayed at. We were here in the winter so not alpacas for us, but the staff was wonderful (thanks Marcy) and the breakfast was awesome. We were during COVID as well and felt very safe and comfortable with the cleanliness.

Nice walk to the town and love there response to this pandemic. But the room I stayed in had dust and seemed to me that it hadn't been washed down for a few days. The rest of the room was clean.

Gorgeous hotel. Loved the suite. The staff was great. Clean room and a great location to explore Sisters and the area
