Best Western Oak Meadows Inn

My parents were coming to Portland for Dad's cancer appointment and as it's expensive, they were going to drive to and from the same day. That's an 8 hour drive for a couple in their 70's. I booked a stay for them (my treat) and was beyond pleasantly surprised when I went to check them in. The lady at the desk was phenomenal. She not only supplied the room with extra towels/soap etc., she went out of her way to have everything done before my parents even got to the room. She even left the breakfast list for my Mom to fill out so she could have everything ready to go before they left the next morning for Dad's appointment. Honestly, I've stayed in many high end hotel's and this was by far the best service I've seen in my 41 years. Thank you guys so much!!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. From the moment we checked in, I knew that we were going to have a wonderful experience. Check in was so painless and easy.

I am surprised that people here do not take Covid seriously. Last night guests were walking the halls without masks and this morning as well. I walk through the lobby past where breakfast is served. The breakfast nook is blocked off and the gentleman in charge of serving food was watching TV without a mask in the breakfast room. I left and came back to the customer service representative sitting behind the counter with her mask down. The bed needs to be replaced as it has zero support left in it. I do not think the room/experience is worth the price.

The staff has been wonderful. Rooms are great too! Just wish they had an elevator for the 2nd floor.

Exception staff- friendly, professional, accommodating, knowledgeable, hotel was clean, comfortable and inviting. Great beds!!nBreakfast was fresh, hot and tasted great.nI am a dog breeder and we will be back to this hotel when in the Portland area I will drive out of my way to stay here.
