Crowne Plaza Saddle Brook

I did not stay in a guest room, therefore my comment is limited to the conference rooms and main lobby. This is no doubt an older hotel. But the friendly staff over rides the age and made the meetings very pleasant and productive. Also, there is a stunning view of Manhattan and surrounding areas from the top floor restaurant. Try it, you won't regret it.

The hotel room was decent enough: comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels. The bathroom didn’t look like it’d been cleaned very well, though, with stains on the toilet seat and bowl. The A/C in my room was also relatively week, but got the job done. Due to the pandemic, I understand why there were limited amenities offered; however, I feel that the price was not adjusted to reflect this.nnThe main reason for the poor review is the fact that despite COVID-19, hotel patrons were still walking around without masks. I saw at least three people walking by the hotel lobby (one coming off the elevator) without a single word from hotel staff. This is simply unacceptable during this pandemic, and I hope this review serves as a warning to future customers and hotel management. In addition, there is constant smell of cigarette (and other substance) smoke smell in the hallways.nnFor the price they charge and the location, I expected much, much better. I’ll be staying elsewhere next time.nnManagement, please don’t bother replying if your going to use the same generic template you’ve been utilizing for other negative reviews. I expect action not words.

Rooms are tiny and the decor is dark and dingy looking for the price. Mildew on the shower door the toilet roll holder broke with one spin. Ac didn’t work only made a weird noise. And the walls are so thin you can hear all the love happening in other rooms. I do not recommend this hotel.

Im only giving this place 3 stars cause I've come to expect certain standards when staying at a Crowne Plaza. The carpet in my room was dirty. It wasn't horrible just not what i was used to.

It’s a nice looking hotel but I personally won’t stay here again. Unexpected fees , they said breakfast would be served there was no breakfast. Customer service isn’t too well either. They have to do better!!
