La Sienna

Lovely stay in this clean studio apartment. Comfortable bed, roomy and wonderful hostess! 2 blocks from the Subway. Our hostess even helped us arrange for a place to keep our luggage as our plane departed quite a few hours after our checkout time.

Very private and peaceful. Got to explore Harlem. The A metro express is very quick into downtown. A backpacker in pairs/couples can stay here with full privacy. A huge police station is nearby. There should be more hostels around here

I love La Sienna. I have stayed many times over the years. The guest house is well located, spotless and each of the rooms or studios has their own ambiance. The owner is gracious and will do her best along with her team to support your needs during your stay. Remember though, this is a historic building and if you are in a party mood, there are other places to stay!

Good place to stay. Very friendly and understanding owner. Good, comfortable room. Rules of stay were well-stated and reasonable, and owner was very helpful with advice on navigating Manhattan.
