Courtyard by Marriott Edgewater NYC Area

I initially was super impressed with this hotel. I was spending the day at the Spa up the street and it was a choice between here and Comfort Inn across the street. The social distancing and cleanliness of the lobby is good. The desk attendant let me borrow a hotel towel because I left mine at home. I spent the day at the Spa and returned about 10pm. Upon return I could hear music playing fairly loudly but let it rock out until midnight. At midnight I figured that the music would shut off or get turned down. It didn’t so I called the front desk and the night attendant told me someone would take care of it. They didn’t. I called back around 12:50, no answer(on purpose I feel). The music finally turned off at 1:35am. Not that great if you have to get up early in a few hours. This turned the tide on my stay and made me a very dissatisfied customer. That and the hair in the shower as well as the hair stuck to the complimentary bottle of shampoo. If you like the floor of your hotel to sound like they’re having their Holiday party at 1am then this is the hotel for you. If you want to get a restful night’s sleep, then try the Comfort Inn.nnRoom 219 on 11/18

Again a must see. Marriott does its visitors Correctly. Not close by, but worth the trip. & do not forget your ud83dudcb3 credit cards...Love the Marriott...they are truly special..tell them UNCLE NORM SENT YA......

The decor of the hotel is so modern, looks amazing. The measures they have taken for sanitation is perfect. They have also kept the hotel very clean. The staff was very helpful and nice. The area around the hotel is also beautiful with amazing views.

Good hotel in the area, the rooms are slightly better than some of the other Courtyards I've stayed in. the lobby area has a bar & an office section (which was helpful as I had a few things to log on / print), & the rooms are comfortable & sizable.nnMy only small gripe is that I left my electric toothbrush charger there & my travel adaptor & they claimed they couldn't find it but would check with housekeeping - & then never called me back after I called them twice.

This is my neighborhood hotel. The staff was very accommodating. I had a death in the family. The funeral date was moved by one day and they happily took care of my family. A special touch was added when it was needed most.
