Mt Scott Manor B & B

Nice place away from traffic.. Nice Forrest views. A little hard to find. Bedrooms are upstairs.. No elevator so you have to use stairs. Nice and clean and quiet. Older couple run the place.

My husband and I enjoy B&B's for the at home comfort. We were comfortable right from the start. We were shown around and then ecouraged to settle in. The rooms were clean, bedding and towels were fresh. The relaxed breakfasts were yummy. I loved the wild life. The deer, raccoons, and birds are plentiful. The hostess and host were very accommodating. We will try to stay again when we get back to the area.

I think 3.5 stars would be more fair but that's not an option. Della and her husband are very kind but the experience wasn't as advertised. The house is beautiful but really needs some updates (main area is missing the chandelier and the wires hang down so sadly, deck is looking pretty rough and chairs for breakfast are quite gross...). Screens on the guest rooms would be nice as there were a lot of bugs (ants, flies... nothing too harmful but didn't want ants in my suitcase). It's very impressive that they are in their late 80's and still getting around so well. Breakfast was freezer hash browns, eggs, bacon and sausage for 2 days. Our last day when there were more guests we had blueberry pancakes, homemade biscuits, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits... The rooms are nice and clean with the exception to the bugs. There are no views of Mount Hood from any room as there is a tree blocking the view. With a little different advertising and updating, this could be a 5 star b&b.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Oriental suite and it was wonderful!nThis was an amazing BnB experience!nIt's a very low pressure, chill environment.nOur hosts, Della and her husband, were so friendly and welcoming!nThey have such a big property and you're free to explore it (carefully)n10/10, we will be returning :)

My daughter and I stayed here when my son got married and Della and her husband were amazing.nDella made my daughter pancakes that where even lactose free.nThey were the best blueberry pancakes I have ever had!!nThe place was clean, the bed very comfortable, and very peacefulnThere is lots of birds, squirrels and deer
