Homewood Suites by Hilton Mahwah

Let me start by saying that I am a Corporate Travel Agent. My girls and I stayed here for the month of September. I highly recommend this property to corporate as well as leisure travelers. It is a bit different traveling and staying at a hotel during COVID but we felt safe and secure here. The property was clean and well kept. The front desk staff; David, Mario, Sheila, Alexandra, Monica, and Charles were all very helpful and willing to accommodate any request we had. The property really did become our “home away from home”!nA very special thank you to David for always being so kind to my daughter!! She looked forward to going down to pick up breakfast each morning.

We lost power due to the storm and needed a pet friendly place to stay. With the virus and storm the hotel was able to accommodate us. The room was clean spacious and like a small one bedroom apartment. David and Sheila were friendly and welcoming. It is like home away from home.

This place is wonderful! Staff was amazing! Definitely worth the stay, so comfortable, suites are immaculate and so thankful they accept pets!! Thank you so much!! Just perfect!!

Our 2 bedroom suite was clean and spacious. The front desk staff was excellent. We experienced an emergency during our stay and the staff, especially David, could not have been more helpful, accommodating and compassionate. Thank you for your help and an excellent experience.

I was greated by two food flies as i entered the room, not a great forst impression, however, the room seemed rather clean, aside from the food flies. Staff was polite, when i could catch them, but ineffective. I asked for clean towels and bed sheet set at 9am had to follow up at 3pm just to realize they never asked housekeeping to do it... hotrl has loads of maintenance issues. Small issues that should have been taken care of. Most doors in the room did not close properly due to missalignment. The drain for the tub did not stop the water flow and hot water for shower was only available at some times and not the other. When i called front desk about it all i got was excuses and no solutions. Poorly managed property, i was quite disappointed in it. Not up to brand standards.
