Comfort Suites

The room was big and everyone was very nice. However, there were a few things that were not good. The mini fridge freezer was so thick with frost it was effecting the temperature regulation and the capacity. The faucet handle and mirror looked like tooth brushing overspray were left behind. The shower curtain was snapped on backward like maybe they turned it around so they didn't have to wash it. My room was at the back, so I walked up three flights with my dog on a leash, my purse, and 4 bags of stuff. My key card didn't work, so I called the front desk and told them I needed a new key card...she said to come down to the front desk and they would get me one. I told her about the bags and my dog, could someone please bring one up to me...she said of course. I waited 20 minutes and called again. She said the maid was supposed to get that for me, but doesn't speak English very well. She brought it up in less than 5 minutes...then my husband's card didn't work...then it happened again. The safe had no key so I could not lock up my valuables when leaving the room. If I wanted to go out, I would have to take all my valuables with me and either stuff them all into a bag/purse and carry them around with me all evening, or leave them in the car where they could get stolen. The room itself is in need of an update, with many old tattered pieces of furniture in need of repairs. The wallpaper was torn and rust coming through the paint in the bathroom. There was either blood or chocolate all over the curtains...yikes! The desktop and table tops looked like someone dusted them off, but forgot to wash them...I could see drinking cup rings that I was able to wash off myself. The staff was pleasant, but not helpful at all when we called to complain about the refrigerator and later the safe. We would have to wait for a new fridge and there was nothing they could do about the safe. We never got a new fridge. They never offered a different room or a discount for our troubles. We stayed here years ago and it was great...this time it was in very sad shape and the front desk seems not at all interested in making it better.

Where do I start.. Fist thing got stuck in the Elevator. Had to pry the door open with my hands. Then found empty Vodka bottle an a lighter in one of the drawers.nTV wasn't working. So went down stairs to talk to Hotel worker an she was helping someone so she said she'd be right up. Went back to room waited an waited an she didn't show. So went back down an she had forgotten about us. Then we figured out that TV was missing the HDMI cable. But she was able to help with that.nOther than that everything is great.

We had to evacuate our homes due to fire. The staff at Comfort Suites were good to us and showed compassion. Also they are a dog friendly hotel.

This place was awful. We had called around and was looking for a whirlpool room for a few nights. When I got ahold of the lobby lady she said yes no problem an we discussed i was Diamond w choice an she said she could see that an we went forward booking our room an she even gave us an additional discount for our membership. I was delighted we drove for over half hrs or so in crazy weather. When we got there the lobby guy was kind of not so nice an said he'd already booked my room an I could have a lesser room for that cost an they never give that rate to anyone. I'm pretty upset now an told him no im not staying there its not fair and cancel my reservation immediately. As he did im still calling choice today an letting them know what happened. I would never stay there ever. Thank you

Very unsafe property. Witnessed two drug seals in the parking lot. Parking lot full of litter. People coming in with no masks and staff working the desk did not care about anything. I felt like I was staying at a homeless shelter in downtown Portland. This place definitely has a meth problem. The cars in the parking lot look like something you see at homeless camps along the freeways. Terrible terrible place.
