Roof Life of Oregon

We had Roof Life come and fix our roof last year and they did a wonderful job! We have been very happy with their work over the past year. They installed an entirely new venting system to help fix our upstairs being too hot. When they finished there was no mess and our upstairs temperature has been significantly improved. Recently, they came to install a flapper vent for our hood in our kitchen. Ricardo was lovely and quick! We couldn’t recommend this company more! We are definitely RL 4 L!!

Roof Life has been taking care of our roof for 15 years and we've been satisfied until this last service. We were torn between getting a new roof or just a cleaning. After their inspection we decided on a cleaning. I prepped home, moved my plants and cars, kept my dogs inside etc. They came and cleaned the roof and it looks fine but the clean up wasnt up to the standards I've seen the past. They left my gate open (I have 2 small dogs who could have gotten out). I was and still am cleaning up moss from my yard, the outside of my gutters did not get wiped down which I thought would be part of the gutter cleaning. Finally, they left a caulking gun on my roof. When I contacted them about this they acted like it wasnt a big deal and said they would be out the next day. I left my cars parked on the street so they would have access to my house but the never showed up. I texted them asking when they were coming to get it. I don't want it to slide off and injure someone. Again they were very casual about it and said the could the following week. I'm still waiting....

We have had Roof Life of Oregon here twice in the past 4 years. They are very professional and have done an excellent job of cleaning, treating and doing repairs on our roof. We feel confident that we are extending the health & life of our roof by using their service. John also did a really nice job of cleaning up after the treatment.

The initial request was to have the gutters cleaned inside and out as well as the roof being treated as moss growth prevention. The need of the cleaning on the outside of the gutters was the major need as our HOA is on us constantly regarding that and I figured we might as well treat the roof at the same time.The inspection was great with a video showing me the shape of the roof. The bid was the highest of the 4 we compared but came with a 3 year warranty so I decided to go with them. They wanted to clean the trace amount of moss regrow from the previous clean and treat two years ago then they would treat the roof. Also in the process they needed to add another anchor point for safety. The price for just this half was far and above what the others bid and I confirmed on the phone that the gutters would be cleaned during this process. The cleaning happened when I was at work and when I inspected when I got home I noticed the gutters were still dirty. I called a few days later and was told they didn’t know that was part of my request and it normally costs more ($300 more apparently) but they would try to fit it in after they took a look. They came out and looked at the gutters but I was left with the impression that it was such a hassle for them on our very tall 2 story house that I decided to forget it and just paid for the roof cleaning bill.nnMonths later I get a call that they want to treat the roof. I told them go ahead even though I thought they forgot about it and asked for the price of the next half of the process. I can only assume the treatment happened as there is literally no sign they did anything other than my neighbors being concerned they sprayed something on all the bushes, fruits, and veggies around the house (Hopefully water as clean up). I Just called to pay the bill and to my surprise it was $100 more than expected. I still need to have someone clean the outside of my gutters which is what started this whole process anyway and now I’m out 2x the amount of money of the next highest but I received.

The entire staff, both the back office and crews were amazing to deal with. They were professional and courteous and showed up to each appointment on time. They knocked to explain the work being done as well. Highly recommend these experts !
