Lakeshore is an older and smaller hotel on Lake Oswego and it was a very nice place to stay. Our room had a nice view of the lake and local wildlife (primarily ducks). Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Do be warned that it is near an active rail line.

Most of the reviews here are spot on. The building is indeed old but the inside is nice. Plush towels, crisp bedding, designer ish paint scheme, current century furnishings, and updated plumbing. The location is spot on. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again on a return visit.

I Only gave a three star because of the bed. Everything else about the hotel is fine. We stayed in Room 30 which is the last room on the third floor facing the street, it had a beautiful lake view an balcony loved that. the room seems that it may be slanting or something, both my husband and I felt off balance when we were in the room.nnThe Bed that is a whole new story. We have stayed at the Lakeshore inn three times now, and every time we experience a bad bed. the first stay my husband had to be isolated in the bedroom for the full week. He said the bed was not the best. I on the other had slept on the sofa bed and was appalled by how broken it was and it really squeaked loud so everytiime I move if I was not already awake I woke up I did not sleep that week. The next two stays we had a king beds. And news flash please replace bad beds they are awful. Otherwise the hotel is nice the staff is great and the housekeeping is wonderful.

Great staff. Inspiring view. Walking distance from restaurant row with fine dining, bakery, pizza, coffee, wine bars and cafe.nWalk to Whole foods to cook meals in your kitchen in the suites. Great room views of a part of picturesque Lake Oswego

Great location for visiting Lake Oswego. Easy drive into Portland. Nice hotel- quiet and comfortable. Tiny parking lot, but that is no reason to reduce the number of stars. We very much enjoyed our stay.
