Holiday Inn Express Portland SE - Clackamas Area

Good mattress. Excellent shower. Good view. Room definitely needed some cleaning. Stayed on 5th floor and exiting elevator window was covered with spider webs and very dirty. Couch in room was very worn. Fabric on arms peeling and gone. Stayed here 5 years ago and rooms were very clean and great place. Seems to need a lot of work.slowly deteriorating.

I do not recommend if you are a person evacuating from a wild fire or are disabled.nMy mother is disabled and we asked for a main level floor in case we needed to evacuate, over the phone she was told yes and the website said the room would be $87.00 a night.nWhen she went to check in, they gave my wheelchair-bound mother a room on the 5th floor that was clear down at the end of the hall. When she tried to refuse she was told that they would charge her for that night regardless of if she checked in or not.nAfter evacuating and nowhere to go, she checked in. The 1st room she was given was a dirty room which I will show photos. The 2nd room the “clean room” had blood on the floor boards of the beds.nWhen checking out, we figured out that we had been charged $109 for the 1st night and $97 every night after that.nOther evacuees showed up needing a room while we were walking out (we told them that we just checked out) and they refused them service because they didn’t want to clean the room.

This is where we were out up by our boss, nice room, beautiful view of high rock, popular swimming hole of the locals. Not to mention hot tub and pool in the lobby, excellent place to fish on the Clackamas.

Room was not clean. There was white stuff all over the floor, what looked like blood on the the curtains, and the couch was all torn up. We tried to change rooms and they said there were no other rooms. Then we tried to get a refund to go to another hotel, but we couldn't. No room service, so if you need something you had to wait for someone at the front desk. But, there was never anyone at the front desk! The photos they put on their page are probably from other hotels. Very disappointed in Holiday In .

I have to say I’ve come to really love this place And any concerns Ive had they’ve always Addressed the issue and fixed it right away! They’re very accommodating & No matter what I’m there for, I continue to come back because I enjoy my stay overall and my interactions with the staff while I’m there! I highly recommend this place to any and everyoneud83dude0a
