Quality Inn Sunridge Inn and Conference Center

I am giving this property a negative review based on an experience I had with them on 8/18/20. I arrived in Baker City on 8/18/20 to meet with one of our vendors to go over some work that they were going to perform for us. I had made a reservation at this property for 1 night (8/18/20) because the following morning I was to meet with this same vendor in a nearby town to discuss and walk another upcoming project. I received a call from my vendor that morning after I had already arrived in Baker City that he would not be able to meet with me due to his wife testing positive for COVID-19. On 8/18/20 at 10:28am I called this hotel to see if there was anyway I could cancel my reservation since i no longer had a reason to stay overnight. I talked to the GM and he told me that he could cancel and no charges would be incurred. However, almost a month later i receive my credit card statement and find that they have charged me $102.93 for a no show. I called to inquire as to why I was charged and they told me I never called to cancel. I am a seasoned traveler (Lifetime Marriott Platinum member & lifetime Diamond Best Western member) so I know and fully understand the cancellation policy's of most hotels. However, when I am told over the phone that I would not be charged only to be charged is wrong. Even worse, when I called and talked to Sam about this yesterday he kept telling me that's their cancellation policy and there is nothing he can do about it which is such a garbage answer. Because of their unwillingness to make this situation right they have lost my business, and will soon lose all the business from anyone in my network as I will be sharing this experience with all of them and recommending they find a different property to stay at. (BTW, you are not the only lodging option in Baker City) Hope the $102.93 was worth it to you!

Dang! This hotel has a standard way higher than any other hotel in baker city. I travel oregon 5400miles a month and basically live in hotels. This one is very impressive. Also big shoutout to Sam @ the front, he is very friendly and made me feel at home..he was also stoked on the quality of the hotel. I will definitely be staying here when I'm in eastern oregon. Thank you comfort in team! The renovation is great. I'm ready for your breakfast sounded, the reastruant sounded really wonderful.

Clean, clean, clean!!!!

The room was nice and clean. The in-room coffee was very good. The room was quiet and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. The staff members were friendly, efficient, and professional. The adjacent restaurant was good. We enjoyed our breakfast with coffee ☕.

Nice right of the interstate type of hotel. The front desk person was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean with a hand written note by housekeeping. There is a playground and pool if you have kids. It's located in same parking lot as the visitor center and there's plenty of outside space around if you have a pet. Had great service at breakfast. Definitely would stay here again when I pass through.
