Clean room during Covid19
Customer service in regards to honoring website pricing and told me I would see a higher charge but would be refunded, never happened.nI do not recall ever being told that at other Hampton Inn's, she also said my credit card was denied, I had just used it to pay Toll road and filled up with fuel, it is a corporate card, called Chase they said there was no issue with my card whatsoever (I had to use my Debit card to pay for room)nI would not stay at this Hampton Inn again, Poor front desk service, sad when that type of person represents a major Hotel chain, Poor & unprofessional front desk service.
The hotel was great! They appear to be taking lots of extra measures to keep everyone safe during covid. Everything was spotless, the room and bed were comfy. The only problem we had was the rate advertised on bring fido was 61.00, and no pet fee. We thought we could get the same rate or better if we just walked in. Nope! It was 100.00. It was late, we were tired, so we paid the 100.00.
Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. The only reason for not giving this hotel 5 stars is we booked a King bed and got two Queens. They explained the reason was that when you book through third party, it does not accurately reflect what they have available. Which is ok, but I would have preferred that they told me that when we checked in and not us having to go back and ask them. They also were out of hand bar soap, but they did have body wash we could use.
Watch out for the extra charge for incidentals. They claim you'll get it back, but I had just initialed a paper that had the correct amount without the incidentals charge. This policy was not disclosed anywhere, not on website, not verbally, until I disputed it verbally myself and declined the charge. Felt like I was staying at a Motel 6. Also, there were nothing but decaf packets of coffee for in room coffee maker. Some people actually like regular coffee to wake up in the morning.
