I really appreciate all of the amenities Candlewood provides for their guests at a price that isn't overwhelming. The staff is friendly, rooms are nice and clean and their checkout time isn't until noon. I love that they have kitchens with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, salt and pepper, cooking items, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and a refrigerator with an.ice maker. In case you may need anything they have an area you can purchase items and have them billed to your room. They also offer washers and dryers where guests can do their laundry at no charge. Feel like cooking out? They have that covered too with very nice grills available and ready to use. They have regular sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash ready to use in the shower and dish soap and dishwasher detergent in the kitchen. They also have a lending cabinet where you can borrow anything from a blender to a board game and a business center for those that might need it. Basically they go above and beyond to help their guests out and to make sure we're happy. I'd say they do a wonderful job.

Good security. Was broken into at another candlewood location in wichita, so this location ranks high for having security patrols by both hotel personnel and private contractors. Great location too.

My husband was working in Wichita for 7 months, from the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in March thru September, 2020. Of all the places to be stuck during this time, we couldn't have landed in a better one. You find out what a hotel is really like while staying long-term and I have never been as impressed with a hotel as I was with this one. Most importantly, the people who work there are awesome individuals. They are real people with real lives and they treat you like they would a guest in their own home. They'll do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable and they understand that people working away from home appreciate the little things. The facility is clean and they are conscientious about mask-wearing and sanitation. Not once did I feel uncomfortable in my surroundings. I'm indebted to them for their hospitality.

I was surprised walking into my room to see a kitchen. So, I decided then, to walk 200' to walmart for some Salmon and seasoning. Clean-up was a breeze, just tossed everything into their dishwasher. Then fell asleep watching a movie, just like home.
