The La Quinta Inn & Suites was a very nice hotel. The rooms were clean and the service was good! The only problem with the service we had was they don't tend to keep someone at the front desk. Multiple times we had to go searching for someone, so be prepared. Other than that they have a pool, facilities for pets, and are within walking distance of nice restaurants, Dave & Buster's as well as many stores within a shopping center nearby. This hotel is a real nice catch for the Wichita Area.
Incredibly hospitable staffnnThe king mini suite we stayed in was beautiful.nnThe bed was a bit too firm for our preference but the rest of the room itself was good. The bathroom was a bit tight and there was no tub (just a shower).nnThe peephole had a privacy blur which is nice.nnA big plus, the bedside lamps each have an outlet and a USB port for ease of access.nn2 large tv's (one near the bed and one near the couch) allowed for multiple entertainment options. The downside is their only about 12 feet apart (no wall in between).nnWith a fully functional refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker (with coffee), hair dryer (black bag in bathroom), and a working thermostat... this is one I would likely stay at again.
I was quite disappointed I thought this was a luxury hotel. There were roaches greeting me at the entrance, some were still twitching. The seating area had roaches every where. They must have just sprayed. I pointed it out to the front desk she swept up some that were on the path to the front desk. Breakfast was fruit loops poured in a bowl and covered with plastic wrap. One day they milk and no cereal then they had cereal and no milk. A loaf of bread opened and two slices of bread wrapped in plastic wrap. No fruit at all they really dropped the ball on this one.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was very clean and had comfortable beds. Maria in the breakfast area was great at her job and also very pleasant and friendly.
Came here on a last minute vacation due to a basketball tournament. Perfect location as they are directly next to the gym. Staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy. Pool was clean and easily accessible. Due to COVID the breakfast wasn't like normal but cereal and coffee and small items were still provided. Excellent stay!
