This park was exactly as promised, easy to find and conveniently located. While booking my site I was made aware of the closure of the bathrooms and laundry room, the COVID changes were explained clearly so I came prepared and I appreciated the staff taking the pandemic seriously. It is a no frills park but what it lacks in amenities it makes up for with the friendliness and welcoming nature of the staff. I was met upon arrival and guided to my site. Great space for walking our dogs (after they get attention from the staff dog whisperer) nice level sites, hookups in the perfect location. Thank you so very much for a nice stay!
This is a no frills park. No pool but there is a playground and lots of dog walk area. All gravel and fairly level. Very friendly staff! Two reasons I give this park 5 stars. One is that there's plenty of room. Big enough sites and roads make for easy in and out. Second reason is location. It's on the edge of a major city but it feels like a country setting. We watched many gaggles of geese land in the field behind the park. It was only about 3 low traffic miles to anything you need. Oh, and while you're there make sure you eat at Strouds. You won't be disappointed.
We stayed here on our way back east! The staff was super friendly from reservations to parking; and the park was well maintained with nice spacious hard packed gravel sites. The railway is active and may bother some folks but we ran a fan inside our motorhome and did not hear it! We did not use the amenities as this was just a stop over! Highly recommend this park!
Very well maintained property, level gravel . Easily accommodated our 40ft with tow car. Nice trees, especially the older, larger ones in front. Staff friendly. Good location for us to visit family. It's in NE Wichita just off I135 and hwy 96...but not noisy. Nice dog area and separate play area for kids. Need to wear mask to enter office and Richard will guide you to your site.
We've only been here a couple days and we've booked through the end of the week but everything has been great so far. The shower/bath house is closed due to Covid but the laundry is still open. The staff is really friendly.
