Great location for what I needed and the rooms are super spacious. My personal experience wasn't great but some of that was because of COVID-related policies (closed business space). The housekeeping was pretty questionable - like my room was cleaned but they took all my groceries because they thought I checked out, but still left dirty towels behind... stuff like that.
We were given the wrong room type. The room was not big enough. I had to go buy an air mattress. Then there was nothing but sheets for the fold out couch, so I have to go AGAIN to buy a blanket for my daughter. Hotel staff could not have cared less. I called the main number and was given a case number that no one followed up on.
Nice clean rooms. Beds were a bit old fashion, but comfortable.
I love that hotels have free breakfast to offer but the food here was just ok. The kitchenettes are a nice feature here but sometimes you have others that won't clean up their mess which I think it should be up to the hotel to make sure this gets fixed when that happens. The rooms can be small but the comfort and decor makes up for it. I feel the housekeepers don't always do their job correctly... I guess it depends on which one you get. I didn't like the fact that my housekeeper came and did the bathroom while I was sleeping. I rather you wait to clean entirely until I'm out of my room cause that's just weird to wake up to someone you don't know in your room doing something that could have been done later. I've had better experiences here though. Still a nice place to get away and relax.
I had a rough time checking in. The desk agent couldn't explain to me why he was trying to hold $70 more on my credit card than the full price of the room for 3 nights. The hotel's front door was always ajar and looked broken for the entire stay. The mattress was comfortable, but the bedding was way too small. The fitted sheet kept popping off just laying down, and the blankets would not cover 2 people and stay at the edge of the bed. We had ants in our room on the third floor on our last day. We notified them as we were checking out, so I assume they addressed it. The bathroom has a pocket door that we could not get to lock. The hallways were sweltering hot and very narrow. It was just a very unimpressive stay. We usually stay at the Stay bridge on Greenwich, and have substantially better accommodations for basically the same price.
