Have people who have given 5 stars to this hotel ever traveled? This is a sad motel in the middle of nowhere. I got lovely Airbnb houses and better average hotels for the same price as the Viking. At least the carpet didn't look gross. But the bathroom was depressing (and the tub dripping). Microwave was not clean. TV was useless: just one channel, nothing was moving (it wasn't the battery, because the volume and the mute function were working). Avoid.
It is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and engaged with their clients. We called ahead at 11:00 pm for a 12:30 am arrival. Staff said they would wait up for us and they did. The hotel is older but well maintained, with good amenities and in a quiet location.
Most of the room was updated. Great pillows, nice TV. Stayed in room 119. Will stay again if in area.
Owners are friendly and take a lot of pride in their work and their establishment. Price is reasonable. Town is great. Thankful Viking staff take Covid seriously and work hard to protect themselves and their guests.
Absolutely a great place for fair price. The family who owns it are amazing people who make you feel welcomed. Rooms were nice and clean and had everything needed for your stay. Bed was so comfortable and room was clean and perfect! Would totally recommend for your stay. Thank you for a great safe place to stay.
