Things may have changed since my visit to Lindsborg in January of 2018. However, this inn remains sharp in memory. The place is quaint and the service isn't intrusive whatsoever. They also have a nice little gift shop with different berries and jams (such as cloudberries). I also recall the breakfast being of Swedish origin, as you may have imagined.nnI have a running list of unique hotels I've stayed at and the Swedish Country Inn is near the top. Highly recommended, no matter what season.
The air quality in these rooms is the best that I have ever experienced due to the wood floors, one of the reasons that I stayed another night. The Swedish-style breakfast was also good. The guest desk, where you check-in, has consistently been a wonderful experience. I also love the location. You can stay there and just walk around the city. I just wish that there had been gliders or rockers in the breakfast area, as well as the rooms. I do not care for the uncomfortable wood chairs in the breakfast room, although they are from the old country. The sauna was also not operational when I stayed, which was a disappointment. Some Swedish music in the breakfast area would have also provided a nice experience. Let the college students that work for the hotel figure it out. They are really good employees. The entrance way is really charming. I did not want to leave.
Super quiet! Super clean! Super hospitality!
The Swedish Country Inn is a beautiful, quaint hotel in a picturesque little town. Staff are very friendly. Everything was clean and neat and the beds were so comfortable! The breakfasts were also great. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Kansas!
A quaint little Inn in Lindsborg. A top to bottom remodel upgraded everything essential while keeping the same old-fashioned swedish charm. Great wooden furniture, great complimentary breakfast, friendly staff and the softest beds.
