Front desk staff and manager are super nice. Housekeeping is awesome ... my room was always cleaned when I requested service. I Love this hotel because it’s like an apartment, it’s close to power and light and the plaza. If you’re visiting kc I would definitely recommend staying here :)

When we checked in, we were told the elevator was broken but we got a room on the third floor. It was annoying to climb the stairs every time we were in and out. They had no breakfast options despite the website said they did. We had to get our key reprogrammed THREE times. Which means one of us had to go back down and up all of those stairs. The room was decent sized however there is only one air vent in the living room. When we got there the room was stuffy and hot, we cranked the ac down but it took a while to get cool. The second night we cranked the ac down quite a bit more and it did get cooler. No one was at the front desk for check out to express our concerns to. Overall I don’t think I would ever stay here again. It was not worth the money at all.

Upon checking in and entering my room, the room smelled of smoke. It was clearly stated on the building that it was a smoke-free building and it even stated on the room door that it was a non-smoking room. After looking around the room, it did not appear to be cleaned. Counters and tables were dirty, window sills had brown gunk on them, and there was hair still in the shower drain from the last people in the room. Not even at the hotel for 30 minutes before going back to the lobby to cancel my stay.

Hotel was centrally located by dining and shopping areas. It was great to have free parking and apartment style rooms. I would recommend for anyone traveling with family.
