Extended Stay America - Kansas City - Lenexa - 87th St.

Very nice, clean room, reasonable price, very helpful lady at the front desk. Since this is an extended stay, there's no ice machine. Room was large, kitchenette, bedroom, nice clean bathroom. The dresser had a little wear and tear on top, but everything else looked new, in good shape. I would stay again. Can't beat the price and location!

I would say okay not the best and not the worst at least they have nice people in front desk and customer service okay.n1. I do not like that they charge a deposit, when a lot of rooms got broken stuff in them such as locks and phone etc.n2. Their prices up and down and never know what to pay next day.n3. They expect you to be out sharp at 11 am even though you checked in very late at night.n4. I would come back only when my other preferred hotel booked out.

Based on the room itself, which was updated and very clean, I would have given 5 stars. The 2 stars is due to the severe lack of sound proofing between the walls of the adjoining rooms, as well as the street, which in this case is a extremely busy interstate. I understand road nose happens and can't be completely eliminated, but nobody wants to hear the active neighbors in the next room.

You get what you pay for. Pay for more. Stayed for two days. Cell phone charger stolen from room. Car was hit in parking lot (hit and run). Thin walls, so could hear neighbors. Moved rooms because first room had screaming baby and loud TV all night long. Second room wasn't better with a barking dog. Fire alarms went off for unknown reason for 15 minutes at 5 pm. Would not recommend staying here. By the way, I did tell the front desk of the issues. Nothing was done.

I guess you get what you pay for!! I booked my reservation through Expedia for a decent price under 50 bucks. However upon my arrival, the lady at the front desk named Maria is what she said, was not very friendly or welcoming. She took $100 deposit for incidentals... She handed me my room key and sent me on my way... She did not direct me in any way whatsoever?!?! I had to get out of my car several times and walk up towards the doors in order to see the small digits in front of each door....I still couldn't find the room. I had to call the front desk and ask which building the room was located in and even then she was not helpful! I returned to the hotel lobby and requested a room I can easily find and directions. She updated the room entry card and pointed in the direction I should go. I really suggest they print out a map of their property to help direct their guests to their room.nMy room was decent size. I immediately inspected the room as I usually do on my hotel stays, and found that my room had no trash cans and no TV remote. I had to call the front desk again and ask for these items. I also had to walk up to the front desk to pick these items up. There were a few human hair's on my bed.nThe hotel furniture could use some attention and I would recommend staffing employees that are welcoming and professional.nI just arrived from an 8.5 hour drive...and a first timer here in Kansas. A little sad and weak welcome from your front desk 'I would say!!'
