The Hampton, on Metcalf Frontage in Overland Park, is excellent. Our family stayed 3 nights. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Front desk folks were friendly and engaged. Aaron and Priscilla were particularly appreciated. The gentleman who kept the hotel looking great was cheerful and very active. Breakfast was pretty amazing, considering the environment in which we currently live. Well done, folks! Highly recommended.
As far as Hotels it was clean,however the rooms need major improvements. Toilet the size of a children's elementary school height, and so small of bathroom. Bed was comfortable staff flat out rude.
The location was convenient and quiet.nI had no complaints about this location and service was great.nThe rooms seemed a little bit on the smaller side.nBreakfast served its purpose with the pandemic.
Very clean, safe area and courteous staff. If you walk or run, I recommend checking out the nearby Indian Creek trail.
Place was under renovation and the final product looks nice. I am a lifetime Diamond which means I have stayed at a Diamond level for at least 10 years. I am very disappointed in the $7 a night parking at this location. This is not Manhattan or LA or downtown KC - the parking charge is not warranted. The Hampton Inn next door doesn't charge a parking fee.nnI have to come back to this area a couple of times a year, won't be staying here again.
