Customer service was amazing. I was greeted every time i entered or left the hotel. Even with COVID-19 restrictions, we were able to use the pool and fitness room (while social distancing).
This was my first stay at this Fairfield Inn location. Upon my arrival I had issues at check-in due to something wrong with the check-in computer system or front desk attendant’s operation of the computer system. She informed me that I needed to call my credit card company to verify this purchase, she also told this to the person that tried to check-in while I was calling my credit card company, after of 5 minutes of being on hold with my credit card company, she informed me and the other customer that our cards started working (which was odd). When the operator for my credit card came on the line, she told me there was no issue with my card. This process delayed me from getting to my room for approximately 20 minutes after my arrival. From 11pm through the am hours there were patrons standing directly outside of the hotel, being very loud and could be heard from the second floor. The grab and go breakfast was sparse and had very few food choices. Overall, the hotel was modern and clean, but the previous mentioned incidents detracted from what could have been a great stay.
The staff was absolutely amazing. However I found 2 dead bed bugs on the sofa mattress.(I’m 100% positive that’s what they were). This was late Friday evening and so we switched rooms. The manager said they had someone come in and inspect and they found no bed bugs! I know what they look like. The manager also said they found no bugs? Weird. Neither here nor there. It’s not acceptable to have ANY BUGS on a mattress!!!
Rooms are newly remodeled and very spacious. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. This is where we will stay from now on when we come in. Highly recommend this one!!
I give this Fairfield 5 stars. It’s sparkling clean, comfortable bedding and the front desk (Ron!) provided outstanding service with a positive, can-do attitude.
