Jay and his team did an EXCELLENT job on a house that I have under contract. Issues came up with the roof when trying to sell (due to a recent hail storm), and he helped me understand the process of getting insurance involved, etc.nnWhen it came time to do the work, he got us in immediately so as to not delay closing. Once it came time for the actual work, he was very communicative on what exactly was going to happen and when.nnThe best part was yet to happen though... When I went to mow for the last time (the day after his crew finished the job), I couldn't believe how GREAT the new roof made the house look. I never realized how sad and depressing the old, discolored, worn out shingles made the house feel. The new roof really made it look like a new house.nnBut wait! There's more! Working for a commercial contractor, I am regularly dealing with our crews leaving messes or jobs unfinished or something. Something we have to go back for. Jay's crew DIDN'T LEAVE A SINGLE THING!!! All trash was picked up, there were no nails left behind for me to step on... NOTHING!!! To me, that final 5% attention to making sure the job is 100% complete before you leave, is EVERYTHING.nnWAY TO GO JAY AND CREW!

My story and experience with this company begins like this. There is a house that got a new roof put on a few homes over from mine . VILLAGE CONSTRUCTION ROOFING was the contractor that did the work. On this day I arrived home and noticed a flat tire. The next morning I called VILLAGE ROOFING to inform them that I thought the crew might have dropped a roof nail on the street and caught my tire causing it to go flat. The lady on the phone was the nicest person I had ever spoken with for starters. She was extremely polite . She put me in touch with the sales manager JAY. This manager immediately offered to take care of my nail. He was at my house in 20 minutes. Once at my home we discovered that in fact was not a roof nail. The nail in my tire had nothing to do with this roofing company. But regardless of that this sales manager JAY decided he was going to take care of my tire anyway. I had thought to change the tire myself but couldn't cause that day my back was hurting which I expressed to JAY. I couldn't believe Jay insisted in changing the tire for me. I indicated to him that at this point now that we knew the nail wasn't their fault so he had no responsibility to me . He did not care and changed my tire for me. This is the nicest guy I have ever met. From the phone receptionist to the manager JAY. This tops one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me and one of the nicest companies I have ever encountered. I cant's say it enough how incredible this experience was in dealing with VILLAGE CONSTRUCTION and it's personnel. If they provide this kind of service even when they don't have to, I can only imagine the quality of service they provide if actually contracting them to do a job. I will never forget the kindness of JAY and VILLAGE CONSTRUCTION.
