We had the most wonderful stay at Simple Haven. Susan and Joe made us feel very comfortable and it was a quick drive to the beautiful Wilson Lake State Park where I took the kids swimming every day. The lake is river fed, clean and has great little swim beaches. We had two rooms on the upper level which had a convenient small fridge and a comfy sitting area, offering us some privacy. Breakfast was just absolutely delicious. Susan is a fantastic cook, and it and a great way to start a busy day. I highly recommend.
Top notch place to stay!! Nice room and delicious breakfasts! Owner goes above and beyond to take care of her customers, we love this place!!
It was the best experience, the hospitality was amazing! Susan and Joe are so nice and friendly! And the food was to die for!
My boyfriend and I stayed here as we did a cross country roadtrip. Susan and her husband were great hosts and offered excellent recommendations for some of the local attractions that we enjoyed. They were very welcoming and made you feel as though you were apart of their family. The rooms very tastefully done and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing!! I would come back for that alone. I would definitely come back and visit. It was a very positive and rejuvenating experience.
I cannot give this place enough credit! Susan and Joe are delightful hosts, providing a spotless and inviting B&B in Wilson. We came for the Czech Festival, and at the end of the night, it felt like we were walking back to our home. Guaranteed good time, top notch hospitality, and a memory not soon forgotten. Can't say anything else other than you have to come here!
