I unexpectedly had to spend a night in Ellsworth. So pleasantly surprised. Very nice, newly renovated room. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Even nice little details - the toilet paper folded to a point in the restroom, fancy folded towels - like you would see in a nice motel in a big city. Highly recommend!nThere's a steakhouse on one side and a Mexican restaurant on the other. Walk over, get a nice dinner, and a good night's rest!
I was traveling from Colorado home to Ohio and had engine issues. My vehicle was at the shop and spent the night at this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating the room was well kept and super clean. I am perfectly satisfied with my stay and would recommend to anyone.
The room was ok, the pillows were rock hard and we only had two towels for our room. The family running the motel were not very nice or friendly. Upon checking in we were told the dogs could not be on the grass, which was surprising for a ‘dog friendly’ hotel. Ok, we kept the dogs off the grass however, every time we went outside we were watched by one of the folks running the hotel. They would walk circles around the other side, all the time staring at us. It felt like we were not supposed to be there. We spent as little time as possible outside, we didn’t even bother get ice due to the inhospitable atmosphere. I would not recommend this place.
The rooms were fairly clean they speak no English they don't even attempt to understand your English they don't honor their website I have a tendency instead of giving something the lost and found they steal it
Great hotel for a nights stay. Decently priced for the town it's in. Clean, up to date rooms, cant say anything about the pool or continental breakfast, didnt use them. Only issue was the hard matress, but that's a personal preference. We prefer ours more soft. Be prepared, they dont have the heaters going prior to arrival so your room will be quite chilly. Would stay here again if we needed to.
