Summit roofing is great at what they do! A family owned company with SO much experience. They place a high priority on quality and affordability. 10/10 would recommend! Plus free estimates. It really doesn’t get better than that.

My insurance company was not going to renew my homeowners policy unless I took care of several shingles that had loosened from my roof in several spots due to wind and weather. They either needed to be replaced or reattached. I had a well known local roofing company give me an estimate on repair and I was told that my roof was in awful shape and that I needed to replace the entire roof. Mike with Summit came out and said that the roof still had some good years left and all that was needed were some minor repairs. His crew repaired it for a very nominal fee which saved me thousands! My insurance company was completely satisfied and renewed my policy! Know that you will not only get an honest assessment but excellent workmanship with Summit Roofing!

Summit Roofing was one of 5 companies that has come to bid on our roof. There were things we liked and things we didn't care for. This is a breakdown of our experience.nn✅ PROS ✅nn+ They were one of only 2 roofing companies that mentioned the soft spots on our roof. Alpha Roofing was the other company that noticed or at least brought it to our attention.nn❌ CONS ❌nn- They showed up completely unannounced. We weren't expecting them as they never set a date or time to give us a bid thus we weren't home when they arrived. There was no call to let us know they were on the way. We were notified of their arrival by our outdoor cameras.nn- After noticing our soft spots, his solution was to simply put new boards ON TOP of the weak boards instead of identifying the cause of the soft spots, removing the damaged boards and replacing them as he should have.nn- He never mentioned that our boards were likely soft because we have inadequate attic ventilation, which is what we need to correct. We've been waiting for the right roofer to notice this issue, bring it up to us without us prompting them, and recommend the CORRECT fix (i.e. close off the currently installed static vents, install a ridge vent, and ensure their are enough soffit vents for proper venting). Throwing new boards and shingles on top of damaged boards fixes NOTHING.nn- After looking at our roof and leaving our property, he called and asked my husband if he was the actual owner of the home or just a renter even though WE contacted him and told him WE had an insurance claim to fix OUR roof and gutters. Apparently people with ethnic last names can't own big houses on land. ud83dude44nn⭐ CONCLUSION ⭐nnWe will not be moving forward with Summit Roofing. They don't seem to have the knowledge we need to correct our roofing ventilation issue and they seem very willing to cut corners (i.e. throwing new boards on damaged boards instead of removing and replacing them). We were not left with any confidence that our roof would be properly fixed should we hire them.

After we called, two days later Mike came to our house and brought his wife Teresa, they drove us around and showed us similar color schemes, which helped us pick the perfect color for our house. The roof tuned out beautiful, the work was done quickly and professionally, plus they cleaned up after themselves, thanks Summit! Also, we've received many compliments from our neighbors.
