Way more serene and beautiful than I thought. Trains pass very often but you get use to it quick. It's part of the novelty. The Tallgrass Preserve is just a short drive away and it's breathtaking.
I was visiting from Australia, and the hosts - a wonderful family - were welcoming in the best prairie tradition. Lovely comfortable Casita, a great night's rest and a magnificent landscape to be part of. Bill is a sculptor with a fascinating oeuvre, some of which is on display right there! Well worth a visit!
Can't get a hold of this property manager website or anything, no phone call pick up nothing trying to conduct business advertising your rates would be a good idea it wouldn't look like you make up a rate as you go along
My Wife and I spent our second Anniversary here. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The sound of the trains going by at night took a little getting used to at first but we enjoyed them
