We understand why they have won awards for their hamburgers! The sweet potato fries were yummy. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio for lunch. Mask wearing was hit and miss with the staff though.
Great food nice friendly people pork tenderloin hand made and the Grand Hamburger was exceptionally good sweet potato fries variety of salads and various different Beers available.
Last week was in Kansas for my wife’s mother’s funeral. We stayed at the Grand Motel in Cottonwood Falls, KS. Huge mistake! Very nice facility but that was it it! Check in was confusing for rooms we needed. Breakfast was a joke just serving bread as toast, small muffin, or small bagel! That’s it. No lunch offered! Proprietor very rude to my family. Could careless that we were there for a funeral. While at funeral, our suitcases and personal belongings were gone through!!! We were unfortunately held up at burial in Emporia, manager very Rude when I paid the bill. I apologized for being late and her comment was “Your whole family should apologize “ I would never recommend this place to anyone and their dog!!!!
The food was decent. Others in my group who got grilled chicken sandwiches thought they did not have a ton of flavor. I had a prairie burger and thought it was pretty good. Service was attentive.
Stayed here for my grandma’s funeral that was in town and while we were burying my grandma owner went through all the families rooms and emptied all our bags Owner tried to argue that I was staying for three nights and I stayed for a nightnpoor service The hotel itself besides management is amazing
