I actually had lunch at Penny's Diner located inside Travelodge. The waitress was very nice and the food was hot and yummy. I was surprised by the fact that most hotels you visit with a restaurant, don't always impress you with the food. This is not the case with Penny's diner. Even if you don't stay at the Travelodge, you should visit the restaurant.

I first learned about this place when I stayed in fort scott for a couple of nights. I was blown away at their prices and the quality of the room. Then when I was driving around hungry I totally didn't realize they had a 24HR DINNER! so then I got to learn about their amazing homestyle food! You can't beat the prices and by far the best place for breakfast in town! now whenever It gets late I know I'm not suck with cheap fast food options but can get a real quality meal from my favorite place in town. Highly recommend The French toast combo!

I wasn't expecting much. This place is sparkling clean. The room was larger than normal with a big comfy chair to relax in. Nice clean bathroom. Staff was great. I didn't have time for breakfast so I cannot comment. The hotel is nicely located.

Room was comfortable, air worked great. Disappointed that free WiFi wouldn't connect to internet.

I go to Penny’s very often and the food and costumer service is amazing! It’s always very clean! BUT tonight I was eating and I’m guessing she was a higher up, but I am not sure, she came in and was yelling at the cook. Telling her how this and that wasn’t right, how this needed to be fixed because she didn’t understand why it was the way it was and she was SUPER loud, rude and unprofessional! I was blown away! I tried to explain to her that I was leaving without finishing my meal because of the way she was talking to her employee and she got rude with me! I warned her that I would be leaving a review and she responded “of course you are” and CONTINUED to be rudento me! I am so displease with this lady! If she is the manager I feel bad for the people who work under her. ud83dude22
