This Marriott is consistently excellent. I stay in hotels 80 or so nights a year and it is a treat to be at this hotel every time. The property is new and so is the surrounding area, but the staff is really what makes this an amazing experience. They are very attentive; for example I had to get up early for a flight and the team offered to send me two wake up calls and arrange for my transport to the airport unprompted. The manager has been at the hotel for a while and has a great memory for his guests as well. Anticipatory Service is clearly on show.nnFood quality and atmosphere is likewise excellent. The lounge is top notch and has a beautiful view. I will return again soon.

This place deserves 4.9-5.0 stars for sure. Sam took exceptional care of us!! So friendly, accommodating, and committed. Great shuttle, great location, even great bar barista in the morning! We probably won’t be back anytime soon to Nebraska, but hands-down I would stay there again if I was. Thanks for making our stay an 11 out of 10!! ud83dude4fud83cudffb

So glad I booked the Marriott last minute. Just got here today and love it. Beautiful, modern, clean, exceptional service, great modern TV and radio options. Great location as well. Can't wait to try the pool. Very good Covid signage.

Amazing doesn't properly describe the delightful experience shared by my girlfriend and I! We arrived and immediately greeted by the warm manager Sam. After talking for a bit, I mentioned that it was our anniversary, and Sam went above and beyond to make sure we had the most memorable weekend. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Parking garage attached was helpful. Sam recommended a great place in Old Market, which was a five to 10 minute walk from the hotel. When we returned, we needed some drinking glasses to watch fireworks from our room and Sam immediately brought them up, wearing a mask with gloves. If we travel back to Omaha again, which is extremely likely, we will be staying here.

The Marriott Downtown Capital District was a perfect stay for our multigenerational family group. Hotel and rooms were clean and quite. Individuals working Front Desk were responsive to our need for additional towels, hair dryer, ice and water.nSwimming area was reduced to fewer swimmers. Pool area allowed for adults to sit around umbrella tables while children played in pool. Outdoor pool is hard to find in Omaha. The pool is located on the roof of the 3rd floor and has a great view overlooking gathering area below. I recommend this hotel during Covid as long as they keep the number of individuals in the pool at one time to 1/2 the max occupancy level or less. Some individuals at the pool were not staying at the hotel but from local apartments near by. Marriott should stop this practice. Allow paying customers to feel more comfortable in pool area with reduced numbers.
