Booked a room through the Choice Hotels App. Arrived to the hotel at 945pm. Lobby was locked, no one answered the phone. Sat there for 2 hours trying to get a hold of someone. Choice was no help to me either. Ended up sleeping in my truck in the parking lot after driving for 12 hours. And got charged for the room. Avoid this place and Choice Hotels. In response to the owners statement. I did not arrive after 11pm. I arrived at 9:45 pm. So there's that. Keep on lying. Thats really good for your business.
Some updates but cleanliness is lacking. Covid Breakfast is Fruit, instant oatmeal packets, coffee & juice. I liked non-carpeted floors, mini fridge, microwave. I liked lamps with extra outlets for charging. Doors open to outside. Stains on linens, moldy shower, dusty
Staff extremely kind that's why is 4 stars. The Rim, we had a smoking room, it smelled of air freshner not smoke which was nice, yes I smoke. The room was also very clean. Ok the negative, it's very very dated not everything was attached or just old and warn. I needed a new tv remote and it was in my hands fast, thanks for that. Our dog slept very well too, lol. So all in all for an inexpensive place to lay your head with no frills, it was ok.
I will like to add that I understand this is a budget hotel, but at least put a little effort into cleaning a room, especially with us being in the time of a pandemic.
I had a good time, the gentleman working behind the counter is thorough and does a wonderful job.
