The Allure at 141

Great staff! No apartment complex is ever 100% perfect, responsive managers and maintenance is what makes the difference. Lori and Nate have nailed that aspect!

This apartment has been an ABSOLUTE disaster. It makes me so sad how horrible my first experience in an apartment has been. I fully regret signing an 18 month lease because I am stuck and I am desperate to get out. The management is very kind, but nothing gets done. It started out rough when our floor wasn’t even laid down right, it took them forever to even come out after rescheduling several times on their part , and then they left the floor tiles in our apartment for so long that I just set them outside the door so they’d notice them. We didn’t get screens in our windows until about 8 months of living there and by that time it was cold, windows won’t lock, everything is made so cheaply. It would take WEEKS to get anything to get done until they finally got someone to handle maintenance. Since about half way through living there every other week we would turn on a light and all of our lights in our apartment would go out. We called to have someone out and they said “they found nothing wrong”. Then the same stuff happened , finally when they hired Nate, we actually did get help and have lights throughout our entire apartment now, which I am thankful for. The biggest thing for me is the reaction time to literally anything, we had crazy neighbors above us that would party until about 2-3am and threatened me and my sister when we asked them nicely to stop, we had to call the cops , and we had called several times before. It took MONTHS to get them kicked out and and not just me but all my other neighbors calling the police and reporting them, it never felt like our safety was being taken seriously , they just got slaps on the wrist until we had 4 cops there to witness how crazy they were. New Year’s Eve I’m cooking a dinner and see roaches on my upper cabinets , I am a clean freak about my kitchen and almost cried, they were in my decorations, everywhere . I bought a ton of stuff to kill them and asked for pest control to come and they never showed today and it got pushed back until tomorrow . It turns out, the roaches came from our ungodly upstairs neighbors because they left the place a disaster and we were never informed that there was a roach problem and now they have moved to our apartment and I am buying pet safe killer and purging my entire apartment , clothes, shoes, dishes , and buying bug killer and poison on my own dime, waiting for pest control. I’ve been waiting two days but that is a lot when you have roaches crawling around your stuff. This is literally a nightmare lease. I am so disappointed and disgusted.

This place is horribly managed as much as I hate to say when I moved in here I thought we were getting brand new well built apartments, but that is sadly not the case. There are many things wrong with this complex such as dog poop everywhere, trash flying around, loud noise from construction at very early in the morning. Not to mention parking is a major problem, as well as noisy neighbors. When I moved in here in Sep I noticed shortly after that they had hooked my fridge up wrong and that it was leaking and molding the back of the wall. I called my landlord and it took two weeks before it was fixed due to either no one showing up or not doing it right. Let alone when we moved in our apartment wasn’t even finished. They care more about getting people into these apartments then they do their residents.

This place offers no amenities and has the same price as other apartments in the area. Management is very poor. Constantly loud construction due to them building other buildings nearby. Also you are right next to 141 which is loud at all times of the day. Not nearly enough parking for the amount of people living here, every night is a struggle finding a spot. A/C has been broken for a month, office has been contacted and even sent in people, they either don't show up at all, or show up and don't fix it. I would HIGHLY advise against living here. After discussing some of these problems with neighbors, there seems to be a trend of poor management and things promised but not given.
