I received tragic news and needed to be up here in Iowa from Texas asap. I booked my room on the road but I made a boo boo... I accidently booked it for the next weekend. Chandra was a rock star and was able to change my booking for this weekend and made a tragic weekend a bit brighter! I'm only here for the weekend but Chandra saved the day and made me feel like family! Thank you for your kind words and making my stay wonderful!
Have to say the people that work here are very friendly and always ready to serve you. My Familia came in for 2 nights and had no problem booking an extra day
This is definitely a struggle hotel. Very nice staff...but there were 2 cockroaches that crawled in the vent of the microwave in my room. So I turned it on & cooked them.
We stayed this week and it was close to the fairgrounds but they won't allow trailers because the parking lot was small. They had huge rat bait traps around the building. The rooms absolutely stunk. The beds were comfortable. The shower was good. I would say it was clean just smells like old moldy and like they haven't changed the carpets since before they changed to a non smoking room. We checked in on a Wednesday and the girl up front was very friendly. But the manager Larry hates his job or life. Was not friendly. Horrible mood. You would think having a full hotel would have been nice.
Decent place. Bed was comfortable. Grab and go breakfast was provided.
