I would recommend this place to all who stay in Des Moines. We booked through Booking.com and when we arrived the young lady at the desk made me aware that someone double booked us. They were MORE than accommodating when making sure we felt welcome at their hotel and we worked out another option without any problem. It was clean and a great location for traveling through. Beautiful city.

Calling the reservation line to make the reservation itself was frustrating. There was a lot of noise on the line. The main thing was that I asked specifically if the pool was open. The representative said he would ask, and he came back and told me it was closed due to COVID. I chose this hotel because of the pool. I said I would think it over and call back. When I called back, I didn't get the same person, and had to go through the process again. When we arrived, we found out that the pool was open, after all! It's true the hot tub was closed but the main pool wasn't. I am not sure what happened- was the rep from another location and didn't know? Did he not hear me? If that were the case I would expect they would just say they don't know and have me call someone that did know. I did not pack swimsuits and with two kids, it's hard to make a quick trip to buy some more, so we ended up not using the pool. It was very disappointing.nHowever, I must say that everything else was great. Friendly check in person. Clean room, etc.

Loved this place it was so much fun I had a grown up party birthday party and it was lot the hotel staff was kind professional and made sure we was taken care of now you can get in and out without a key so it's secure so I felt safe pool area was nice the jacuzzi was out of order so yeah but very clean place I recommend ud83dude09

What an amazing hotel. Polite and engaging staff, wonderful decor, and excellent finishes, not only in the Suite, but throughout the hotel. Treat yourself to a wonderful stay next time you're in the Capitol City!
