Backwaters Bicycle Shop

Very cool shop. Extremely knowledgeable.

We were to Bellevue for Hubby's family reunion July 4th 2018. We were headed off to see the sights by bike (brought our own) when hubby's tire popped. Though Backwaters Bicycle was just closing, the owner (older, gentleman) took care of us with time and care. We were surprised the bill was minimal. We left smiling and plan to return this next season; he's got a good selection of bikes for sale!

To start off, if you're in the area and are in the market, I am positive you will not go wrong here.nnI purchased (not from this shop) a bike that I thought would be great for touring around. I sunk over $1000 into it and learned quickly that my body was not made for such an awesome bike.nnWe visited Backwaters this past weekend and I talked with the shop owner about my problem. He asked 2 or 3 really simple questions about my experience, and then picked out a bike for me to test. It was night and day how comfortable and easy to ride. He also let me test drive his own personal bike.nnThe guy really believes in the Sun line of bikes, and from what I can see they're extremely well made (in the USA?) and affordable. They look really neat too.nnGo chat with the gentleman who runs the shop. Be prepared to walk out of there with a bike that's perfect for you.

Very knowlegdable about bicycles. Pleasant transaction at a fair price. Huge inventory of bicycles and parts. Will buy from again.
