Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham West Fargo Medical Center

Super clean, friendly staff, pet friendly, spacious rooms and bathrooms. They had covid breakfast packages in little brown bags - very thoughtful.

The building is new, the room was clean, and a great value. Good proximity to the highway and a fair amount of parking.

My wife and I just happened to stay at this Microtel when it first opened. The rooms were very clean, the prices were very reasonable. We will never stay here again. We checked into a suite, and the first thing we noticed was clearly visible male urine/hairs on the toilet and floor in the bathroom. There was also old sandwiches and cottage cheese in the fridge. I went to the front desk and explained my concern about the general hygiene of the room. The front desk lady said housekeeping wasn't still available, and offered me bedding to change out. I told her that I would not be changing the bedding, so she put us in a room down the hall. Which had a clogged drain in the tub. The clog really isn't a big deal, but it was the frosting on this turdcake of a hotel. Don't stay here. This hotel also does not honestly explain that during covid they have the pool closed, and their breakfast is something in a small brown bag behind the counter. Please go somewhere else if you are looking for a place to chill with your family for the weekend.

I do not recommend this hotel. I showed up a few days ago, with my beloved husband Jerry. We came here for a getaway from the kids. I am fully aware of the Covid-19 situation, but the lady I spoke with on the phone, no idea who she was. She told my husband and I that we would be able to use the pool, hot tub, fitness center, and there would be free breakfast. I get there, the chick tells us that cannot use any of it. I am extremely frustrated. The rooms were nice, the service was fine.

When we got to the motel we were told the pool was closed. The next morning we went down for breakfast and was told there was no breakfast. When I complained and asked what I was paying for the front counter gal said to call Wyndham. That it was there rules. When I called they said it was a site decision. I had called two weeks before and talked to the manager and no mention of this. I pulled a container of milk from vending area and was told I needed to pay $2. No breakfast and now you want me to pay $2 for milk that should have been free. We had 8 in our party with 2 rooms and had to find our our breakfast. Maybe Microtel should reimburse me the $80 I had to ay for breakfast. When I left o also asked for the manager to contact me. 48 hoursnlater and no call. As far as the cleaning of the room. Pet hair all over the seat in front of air conditioner. They told us things were reduced or closed because of COVID. It looks as if housekeeping was reduced also. I would never stay atnthis hotel ever again.
