Grand Pequot Tower at Foxwoods

A little fun at the Slots.. not much luck, just fun

OUSTANDING HOUSEKEEPING EMPLOYEE!nI've been going to Foxwoods and staying at all of the hotels for many, many years. This morning, around 10:30/10:40am, my daughter and I were leaving our hotel room at Grand Pequot and had a ton of bags to carry as we shopped a lot the past two days. This may seem to be an expected,  miniscule act of kindness to you, but to us, it meant the world! There was a woman, who's name tag I wish I had read, with semi-short, blonde hair who was from housekeeping cleaning the room next to ours at the time. I had wanted to let her know that the bag in our room was all of our trash so she didn't think it was something left behind. The food processor we had latched to my daughter's suitcase had dropped, the tape had ripped off and due to the amount of purchases we had made, we were really struggling to figure out a way we could carry everything downstairs and to our car. She took the time to help us figure out a way and tied up this box to my daughter's luggage. She was so incredibly kindand thoughtful! So often, especially during these trying times of covid, people have lost sight of being kind and taking a moment out of their busy days to do something, they don't have to do, to help someone else. The example she set for my 10 year old daughter this morning was an act of kindness we will never forget! I'm a single Mom who sometimes relies on others, to help reinforce the morals and values I try to instill in my daughter and that woman this morning has no idea just how much that act of kindness was needed and appreciated in our day today.

The hotel was great, everything was very clean which is especially important during covid times. We were there on a Thursday night to go play games and enjoy food/drinks with friends. We were shocked at midnight when we wanted more food/drinks and nothing was open. Even on the weekend the restaurants close at midnight. If we would’ve known this we would’ve brought extra food. The only thing open was a 24hr dunken donuts. Foxwoods is secluded, we couldn’t find anything open with a 40 minute drive.

Love it here..more action than anywhere else right now...they took precautionary measures considering this.. pandemic which I was grateful for had to where mask..etc all the rules...u couldn't smoke inside but they do have a smoking room for us smokers which was great(if your a smoker)..when we were there Friday none of the shopping stores were open for me that was a good thing saved me a lot of cash..still didn't make it through the whole place it's so big definitely if your itching to get out go there..it's such a great place and something to do whether it be with the fam or a great date night with your man...

All this casino does is take your money I was there for half of the day losing over 2,000 not winning anything and one of the worker just stood over me it's time to try a different casino not focwood never have luck here
