Kind of torn on what to write. It is a nice little out of the way location with some privacy. It is cozy but the main building almost feels crowded with just a few people in common area. The room definitely isn't huge. More than accommodating to our two large dogs just a little tight.nnBreakfast situation was aloof with not your normal menu style options. We ended up going up to Kitchen Little instead.nnNow, the only real issue aside from it being not what we expected was the filth. Bedspread felt nasty to sit on. Room hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The toilet literally had mold under the lid. This is not ok.

Claude is a nice person, i stayed at this Inn in 2010 for 3 weeks, A lot of people on the reviews seem to complain a lot about everything. It an old rustic inn? He allows people to bring dogs, some people bring two or three dogs and then they have the nerve to complain. Can't a relative take care of the dogs for a day or two? The place is to small for dogs to be bordered and entertained. If a couple goes here with a dog, how romantic is having a dog in a room with you, the rooms are kind of small. Maybe the place would be cleaner if you did not bring any Dogs.....Maybe you should bring a turtle next time!!!!!!!!

We came here in the cold weather at the end of November and the cottage was so cozy. There is a nice gas stove with visible flame to heat the cottage and it's wood interior is very rustic with a New England vibe. We enjoyed the hot tub, It's not directly on the deck but just a short walk from the back door. Was not a problem for us. Claude was a great host and walked us through everything when we arrived. You can't beat the location if you like to be near the marina. It's a beautiful view. My son and I really enjoyed ourselves. Our dog Cooper did too:-)

Very weird experience. We woke up to a man peering into our window from outside. he was a friend of the managers, staying on the premise. We were introduced to him earlier that day. it was the scariest thing I have ever experienced in my life.

Great place to stay. Rustic and cozy. Not for yuppie scum who prefer the major hotels! Walking distance from town with a hot tub and kitchen with outdoor grill. Great place for weekend getaway. Claude is a great host! We have gone for years and always look forward to going back!
