Right from the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. Brian welcomed us, pointed out Mystic’s must see places and made our first night dinner reservations. The Shipwrights Daughter was elegant and the food outstanding. It’s easy to see how well maintained everything was. Our room was beautiful. It was clean, comfortable, and well thought out. It looked like it was freshly painted. The maintenance crew was scrubbing the bi-level porch while we were there. They really know how to care for this historic structure.nWe were all very pleased with our stay and we would recommend The Whaler’s Inn to everyone.

We have stayed here before. It has gone through a huge renovation.nThe one issue I have is depending on where your staying you have to walk out in the parking lot to go to the lobby.nIn a rainstorm or snow that's not fun.nIt's close to the main part of Mystic so walking the town is easy.

The room was amazing, we stayed at the hoxie house part of the inn. King size bed that was like new with a tuft and needle matress...heaven!!! Fireplace was great, along with a nice tub and shower setup. The only thing I wish it had was an extra sitting chair, there was an office chair but it was not for lounging. Staff were friendly and offered up suggestions for dining when asked, thank you!!! Parking is limited so if you get a spot keep it. Otherwise you will be parking on the street. Would def. Stay again.

10 STARS!! (if I could)nThis place is amazing. The rooms are beautifully re-done, but the hotel still keeps much of it's historic atmosphere.nIt is a bit pricier than your normal hotels, but you are IMMEDIATELY in the heart of Downtown Mystic and can walk to nearly anything you want.nAnd the food at the hotel restaurant is terrific if you don't want to venture far!nA Must Stay!

The room was beautiful, spotless and we'll appointed. Bathroom was very spa like with rainforest shower and waterfall tub with microjets, complete with white towels and robes. Staff was helpful and friendly. The AM breakfast was delicious, really well done! Thank you for a nice stay.
