I went today. The trail is not marked at all. In 1 spot u have a choice to go left or right no marking to tell u which way. But if u go right after a while u totally loose the path. We got lost in the woods for 2 hrs. I have MS after a while I was having I very hard time. According to the info. It was only suppose to b a mile and a half to the falls. I was very disappointed in not being able to get to see the falls.
I went last Wednesday, trail was poorly marked,the red markers very faint ,weather beaten and worn out paint.had trees laying across trail .I was disappointed because of lack of rain ,just a trickle in the falls.however when I reached the blue trail which was marked very well ,I hiked all the way to route 42 on bethany, then came back to the falls and out.i had a good 5 mile hike.
