Beware this company! I contracted them to replace the roof of my 4250sf home in Orange. I had gotten quote from 4 companies and American was not the cheapest, but could fit me in the soonest. After the job was complete, Fred (owner) insisted that Dave (bother-in-law) and Mike had underestimated the size of my roof and that I needed to pay an additional $3000! I refused, explaining that it would make his estimate much higher than the other estimates. He was super nasty to me and when the roof did not pass inspection, it took 16 phone calls for them to come back out and caulk the nail-heads on the flashing around the plumbing vent. Three months later, and this brand new roof is LEAKING -- at the flashing around the plumbing vent! This company refuses to come out and honor their written warranty. They are nasty, unprofessional, sloppy, and crooked. Stay away from All-American!nnNote: They are located at 375 Street Elm St West Haven, and the names of the employees I worked with are: Fred Sr. and his wife Sue (who live most of the time in FL), Dave (Fred's Brother-in-Law), and Mike. This work was done at our home in Orange, CT in March of 2018, and the roof was leaking by May. I have also uploaded a photo of our contract as proof of my having engaged this company for the work on my house.
A friend recommended this company since I had been having issues with leaking on my roof. This supposed repair was nothing more than splattering some black stuff. Still having issues.
