A nice surprise between Missoula and Bozeman in an old Western town. Family owned and operated. The renovated room was clean and comfortable with Roku, Keurig, microwave, mini fridge and table to eat or rest in the room. Very comfy bed! Note: The outside hasn't been renovated yet, so don't be alarmed. The renovated rooms are great!

Charming, clean, and very comfortable. The owners of this Inn are doing much of the restoration of the property themselves and the attention to detail is amazing. Their initial focus is on the rooms and makes total sense since that's where the customers spend their time. I cannot wait to see how they transform the outside of the Inn as well. I love this place, it's location, and friendly Deer Lodge as a whole. Food, drink, cool sites, and a grocery store are an easy walk too. If you are spending any time in Deer Lodge or the surrounding area, this is a great place to stay!

Love this place! Very historic town. Ken was very accommodating and hospitable. I have locked this location for the next trip. Rooms were amazing.

Could be a nice place. One positive, the beds were very comfortable. In trying to fix the place up, there is no attention to detail! Will try the another hotel the next time we are in Deerlodge.

As someone who did NOT want to travel in the middle of a pandemic, arriving at the Warden Inn was most certainly a pleasant surprise. This is not the kind of hotel that you expect to find in Deer Lodge. Solid combination of small town but not back woods, the rooms were clean, well appointed, stocked with amenities, comfortable beds, etc., and the owners (brothers) were hospitable, quick to chat or lend an ear if you so desired, and a keen eye for customer service.nnThey were remodeling when I was there (June, 2020) so most everything in the room was new.nnThis will be my go-to place for future trips to the Powell County area.nnOh, ya, and it was June in Montana. . .So of course it snowed.
