This really is NOT a campground. It's a mobile home park with a dirt parking lot that full time campers (read - construction workers) park at. The owners were very nice but this definitely is not your standard RV destination...

There are no campgrounds in this area of Connecticut and New York so even though it's only a parking lot with electric, water and sewer it deserves 3 stars for at least being a place to spend the night safely. The owner is so helpful and friendly. My only serious complaint is you are not allowed leave the small parking lot to walk dogs in the adjoining mobile home park. $50 is steep but it's the law of supply and demand.

For overnight or short term so you can visit NYC, this is ideal. We are on our way to Maine, but needed a visit to NYC and found this park. Not a resort, but nicely kept up and maybe the only option in the area. Courteous management too. We are glad to have it and would stay again. Traveling in a 38' 5th wheel.
