First let me start by saying that our project was completed right before the pandemic hit. So, we have been meaning to share our experience for quite some time.nMatt remodeled our two full bathrooms. In comparison of the before and after, it’s like night and day and they are unrecognizable. In fact, I can’t even remember what our former bathrooms looked like before because our new bathrooms certainly make the old ones forgettable. They are exquisite! Exactly what we asked for and more.nMatt was professional and informative. We asked a lot of questions and he answered with great detail and patience. We hired Matt to remodel our common bathroom and we could not be happier with the work he has done.nEverything looks perfect!nnFrom the first day we got in touch to the last day of the job, Matt has been very responsive, took in consideration our budget and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it to be, even the small touches.nnWe loved that Matt took the time to explain to us what needed to be done, was very upfront about the costs and when we found out that our vent was not venting outside and the pipes where broken inside the walls he handled it right away and knew exactly what to do. We hired Matt for a master bathroom remodel and also installed an air bath system. We could not have been happier. One of the first things we noticed was his promptness and responsiveness. Most contractors have difficulties keeping appointments or returning calls, not Matt, he was always a pleasure to deal with. His contract was easy to understand and he spelled out everything and always discussed any possible changes and effects on cost. Very honest contractor. His quality of work was awesome, all his sub contractors were just as great and easy to deal with. Overall the experience with Matt and his crew was outstanding. Now my parents are looking at Matt for their bathroom remodel and we hope to hire again soon for a kitchen remodel.
Our kitchen remodel is complete and we couldn’t be happier! What began as some water damage in one cabinet ultimately exposed a much larger issue, requiring the replacement of pretty much the entire kitchen (cabinets, countertops and drywall). Matt was responsive to our needs and concerns throughout the entire project, working with our insurance company and providing options within our budget. He was organized, meticulous and left the house in great condition after each days work. We couldn’t have asked for more in a contractor and highly recommend K&M Building and Remodeling to anyone in need of these services for their home.
Matt of K&M building and remodeling just finished removing old, outdated, and drafty windows in my three season sunroom and replaced with new Harvey windows. From start to finish Matt was excellent. He was always on time and listened to what I wanted, while offering possible suggestions that might make the project come out better. In addition, he was always responsive to calls and emails, and never made me feel like a bother. I believe it is important for all contractors to make clients feel like they are not alone during a home remodeling project and Matt was there 100%. I will without hesitation be calling Matt for any future projects that I will do to my home big or small.
