To The Reader:nnI, like most of the people that read this, lead a very busy and stressful life. Writing reviews has never and will never have a front row seat on my priority list. Unfortunately most people will only write a review when things have gone wrong or they have had a bad experience. The reasoning, in my opinion, is that a job well done is expected from the beginning. Therefore when a client’s expectations are met, the bill is paid and everyone moves on.nnThat said I have decided to write this review, as I do not feel a good outcome defines a good business. It just shows nothing went wrong. A good business is defined by how problems and issues are delt with after the service is complete. If something goes wrong a consumer wants to know that the company will stand behind their work and return to take care of any issue, should an issue arise.nnRecently I hired this company to side my lake house on Highland Lake in Winsted, CT. The job took place over the winter so to say the least there were several challenges they faced. After the coldest 2 weeks one could imagine, my house was sided to perfection, the tin was applied flawlessly and a set of seamless gutter were installed to finish off the job. I was pleased with the work, paid the bill and was looking forward to spring.nnWhen the warm weather arrived I noticed a few issues. Prior to siding the house Mr Lovetere informed me of how the siding will move due to temperature variation and when the weather warms up I may experience excessive expansion due to how cold it was when the siding was put up. That said the issues I am referring to were due to everything expanding, which cause a small buckling effect in 2 areas. I called Mr. Lovetere to notify him and without question or hesitation he was there within the hour. I did not even have to show him the area, as he already knew. The issue was fixed in 2 hours. This was followed by a short conversation and a hand shake. I have never had anything taken care of so quickly in my life.nnIn summary I expected a good result. I decided to write this because of how quickly and efficiently the problem was resolved. I hope this message helps other business owners know that they are being hired for a good result. However that does not make it a good business. A good result, followed by a problem, followed by a prompt response and a professional solution makes a business a good business. Matty’s Home Improvements has earned these 5 stars.

Mr Lovetere provided a professional installation for a very reasonable price. His price was $3100 less than the other local roofing company.
